While he said he prefers Asian art, he is an overall amazing artist who has shown he can do any style of tattooing, with exceptionally bright and vivid colors that last forever. His black and grey is also phenomenal. The work and experience he has is well worth every penny. The shop is very professional and clean, but can make you feel welcome and comfortable with humor. I was referred here from a friend who got her nipples pierced. Although I wasn't able to keep mine, I would definitely recommend them. My experience started with calling them to reserve the spot because i couldn't get the website to work. The guy on the phone was super cool. Told me just to come down they would get me in. I'm not going to lie I was a scared bi**h to get them done again (3x before) but the whole process I felt comfortable. Got my cartilage pericing done here by Jason and I thought it would be very painful but I didnt feel it at all. They used a good numbing solution and I felt no pain at all. Also healed great and had no problems with it. Definitely planning to get a tattoo done here in the future. I would definitely recommend it!

Everyone at capital city is pretty awesome. Roger did four of my tattoos and they came out great. I'll be going back to get more soon from him. Capital city is an awesome shop and any one that wants good ink should go there!

I ended up at this shop after calling around all night and I couldn’t be happier with my tattoo!! The place was very clean and sanitary and the people are some of the nicest, down to earth artists I’ve ever met. I love the vibe of the place and it has a great energy. I told Howard my idea & that I wanted him to express his artistry not just copy a pic. He sketched up what I wanted with his own unique touch. These guys took great care of me, especially since I got a tattoo and nose piercing back to back. Thanks again and I will be back!!

My cousin and I came in yesterday for matching tattoos. We ended up there by chance but I’m glad we did. Interesting conversation put my cousin at ease (it was her first tattoo). Felt relaxed and comfortable. Definitely will go back when it’s time for the next one.

At age 50 I got my very first but not last tat. Howard did an unbelievable job. His attention to detail was the key to getting it exactly the way I wanted it.

I found Micah by chance and he ended up being the best tattoo artist I have ever met. He is doing repair work for me and is doing a marvelous job. Wouldn't let anyone else work on me at this point anymore. Micah is second to none in the area and surrounding states. Awesome at black and grey, and color as well. Can't go wrong with him.
